Octbox D25 MK20 Seat Box (NEW)
This Seatbox is a configurable item with the default settng set to NO Drawers, No Seat and No Tool Bar. Select your preferred drawer, seat and toolbar options from the drop down menu. The price will amend to reflect the options selected.
Lightweight Aluminium Chassis only weighs 14.5kg even when the Octbox adjustable toolbar is fitted into the Footplate
Supplied with a single deep drawer with 8 tray set or two drawer or three drawer module. Additional drawer modules can be purchased if required. The Octbox Seat height to Footplate can be adjusted if more drawers are added. We currently have an offer on the two drawer option. This cannot be replicated on other drawer modules.
Height Adjustable Seat and Drawers
High Performance leg clamps that can support 300kg without slipping. Testing was carried out at the Cambridge University Metallurgy test lab together with the other top 10 selling brands and independently verified. No other seatbox leg clamp got close to the Octbox performance. The reason for the performance is the fact there are no plastic components used in the clamping system.
Extendable Tool Bar / Keepnet frame. The is fitted into the footplate and extends out over the water. The box can be supplied with or without

- Lightweight Alloy Seat Box only weighs (a) 11.8kg with Mud feet and drawer module removed. 14.5kg when Drawers, mud feet, and adjustable toolbar fitted

- D25mm Dia Legs campatible with Preston Accessories.
- Variable tool bar fitted into the footplate that can extend forward up to 50cm. This is patented and unique to the Octbox. It has a number of functions including an additional load area when using the system as a wheelbarrow. (Wheel kit not included)
- Adaptors supplied to fit up to three keep nets to the toolbar.
- The ability to move the Bump Bar further out is a great advantage and takes pressure of the anglers back.
- Super Strong and rock solid. To demonstrate we have videoed four anglers bouncing up an down on the box with a combine weight of 60 stone.

Theres not much more i can say that hasnt already been said. Quality work by talented engineers at Octbox. Strength, durability, adaptable to suit any configuration of modules and accesories which are equally class items of workmanship. I have had the MK19 D25mm for well over a year now every week at least once or twice and its as good and as strong as the first day used. When you look at all other seatboxes available (a lot of them as much or more to purchase) they just dont compare. A seatbox and a great range of accessories made to last and a credit to the team who design and build them.

Now I have started using the Octbox Seatbox system as my barrow and on the rare occasions I travel to Ireland a platform as well I have started to appreciate just how adaptable and robust the Octbox Chassis can be. The barrow system has more capacity than my old shuttle is setup in seconds and I save a load of space in my car.. When I first started using the box I removed the extending adaptor bar that is fitted to the footplate and fitted my old toolbar direct on to the seat box legs. It felt cramped and was not ideal. I have now refitted the extending adaptor bar, added two 50cm posts and fit my trusty tool bar to them. This allows me to extend my nets etc to a point that gives me all the leg room I need. I appreciate that I am still not using the front end how it was designed with the keepnet adaptors but it is not always easy for an old dog like me to change his ways.

This is a great box. The service from Rick was outstanding and he can be contacted personally. Great range of add ons which allow the box to be used in all types of coarse fishing situations. Really well designed by a team with anglers in mind who have listened and adapted the box over recent years. The modular construction enables you to buy what you need then configure it to suit the type of session you want to use it for. My only gripe is that I am sure there will be more great ideas incorporated into the range which I will have to buy! The build quality is second to none and these boxes will last.

After recommendations from friends I purchased a MK18 D25 Seat Box system and I am very happy with it. Rock solid an the bank and very well engineered and manufactured. I was unsure whether to go for the D36 or D25 but after a chat with Rick it was clear D25 would be the right one for me. Some of my fishing involves long walks and the very lightweight D25 makes that easier. It took me a while to realize the full benefits of the Octbox Seat Box system but I got it when I was loading my car for the first trip. Its not just a seat box, in fact its a box, trolley and platform all in one system and all of these functions are fulfilled very well. I only gave 4 stars for price because it isn’t cheap, but 5 stars for quality and value because I believe it is worth the money.
