The barrow can be tilted to approx 30 degrees without the wheel going past vertical, thus enhancing stability and reducing the risk of tipping over. This really does make a big difference when moving forward across ground that is sloping either from left to right or right to left. With a single barrow it is possible to tilt the barrow into the slope. This is not possible with double wheel setup and the barrow angle will be equal to that of the slope it is traversing. Tilting the wheels at 30 degrees allows an angler to traverse a slope of up to 30 degrees without the wheel on the lower part of the slope going past vertical.

A conventional barrow on a 30 degree slope would have both wheels tilting at 30 degrees past vertical making the risk of tipping over very high. Available with or without handles.
